Attending Council Meetings Regularly:
Blake has diligently reviewed City Council meeting minutes for over five years and consistently attends every bi-monthly Council meeting, ensuring a thorough understanding of ongoing community issues and decisions.

Burton Elementary Community Council (2021–2023):
Collaborated effectively with parents, teachers, and school administrators to guide important decisions about school funding and student programs, demonstrating a commitment to quality education and community engagement.

Treasurer, Burton Elementary PTO (2023–Present):
Responsible for managing finances, budgeting, and organizing fundraising efforts to support school initiatives, showing strong fiscal responsibility and leadership.

Communities That Care – Central 3 Member:
Works collaboratively with local leaders and organizations to identify community needs and develop prevention strategies aimed at supporting youth, reflecting dedication to community well-being and proactive solutions.

Experience at Davis Behavioral Health:
Gained firsthand experience working with at-risk populations, deepening understanding of the challenges faced by families and individuals and emphasizing the critical importance of accessible, effective behavioral health services.

Education:
Holds a B.A. in English with a minor in Political Science. Academic background includes coursework in technical writing and editing, Supreme Court jurisprudence, political philosophy, and communication, equipping Blake with strong analytical and communication skills essential for effective city governance.
